Can I send text sms to all number present in distribution list, or it's work only one to one? I'm sending 8.000 sms at time, every week, I've create the distribution list in file txt and replace it under the program cartel called "Dlist", I can see the number, but how I can send the same text sms at all list? | |||

Hi Rocky, When you're in the web menu interface, if you select "Distribution Lists", can You see the distribution list (and if you select "Modify", can you see all the members of the list)? If the answer is Yes, then all you have to do to send a message to all members in the distribution list is to enter the list name in place of the phone number when you submit a message. If the answer is No, you do not see the list, then the list is in the wrong directory. There is a subdirectory of "NowSMS" titled "DLists". Initially when we added this feature, we were storing all distribution lists in the same directory, but then we realised that we should give separate distribution lists per login account to the gateway, so they are currently stored as text files (with a .TXT extension) under DLists\"username", where "username" is the name of the SMS user account that is logging into the gateway. (If you don't have user accounts enabled, then it would just be in the "DLists" subdirectory directly.) -bn | |||

Ok, Now the question is: If an account have more 1 distribution list ( family, colleague, friends, work...) you've write me that for send a message to all members in the distribution list is to enter the list name in place of the phone number when you submit a message. But if I want send sms at all member for all distribution list, how I can do? | |||

Rocky, Sorry for the delay getting back to your messages out here. Our offices were closed for a long holiday weekend, and it's taking a little while to get caught up. In addition to using distribution lists, you can submit a message to multiple recipients by separating the phone numbers with a ";" (semi-colon) or "," (comma) character when submitting the message. The same approach works for distribution list names, you can enter multiple distribution list names in the "phonenumber" field, just separate the list names with a ";" or "," character. -bn | |||

It's fine thanks, you've ever the answer. I've another question: I've insert 20 user and I've do access to web interface. Every user create a your distribution list, but when 1 login to the web he can see and access to every distribution list. Is there a filter for any account? Some client don't want share the number with all other account. Thanks in advance. | |||
