I have some trouble configuring NowSMS to receive SMS messages. First of all, NowSMS does not allow me to enter an empty command line field corresponding to the wildcard prefix *. I want all incoming messages to be saved locally in the SMS-IN directory. Also, other commands associated to prefixes are not being executed. When I look in the SMS-IN dir, a .IN-file is updated each time a SMS is received. What could be the problem? (Since the .IN-File contains the data of the last reveived SMS, I know the GSM modem works properly). Please help! Thank you! | |||

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. If you don't define any commands, or a message is received that does not match any commmands, then the received message would be stored in the SMS-IN directory. Assuming that "Process received SMS messages" is checked in the 2-way tab, the "*.IN" files would be renamed to "*.SMS" after the 2-way command table is evaluated and no matching command is found. -bn |
