Hi I would like to more on Testing MMS Client with a configuration nicluding NowSMS gateway and Agilent 8960 ?Anybody who have worked on this , please let me know ? | |||

Hi Bishu, I'd suggest that you contact your Agilent representative, as they should be able to provide you with some more information. The only real info that I have is in the following thread: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/5614.html Basically, the advice there concentrates on the SMSC setup. But that is usually the hard part of the configuration. If you look at our overview of how MMS works (http://www.nowsms.com/howmmsworks.htm), then you'll see how SMS is used to deliver the MMS notification to a handset which tells it that it has received an MMS message. Everything else occurs over IP, so the rest of the configuration involves getting the IP configuration setup correctly so that the MMS client can connect with the MMSC over IP. (Usually there is also a WAP proxy in between the MMS client and the MMSC. The MMS client either uses WSP or W-HTTP/W-TCP to talk to the proxy, and the proxy uses HTTP to relay the request to the MMSC.) Also note that you will need to provision one or more accounts on the MMSC under the "MMSC Users" dialog. And then you pass this user name in the MMSC Server URL that is configured in the phone because the simulated network will not provide any user identification. -bn | |||

Hi, Bishu You colud setup NowSMS, NowWAP. The Agilent 8960 app. use E6701B or E6701C. The mms client connent 8960, WAP home page set NowSMS ip address and user account, password.then you could send MMS NowSMS server. | |||
