Hi Nowsms team , we already uses the Diameter on tcp , but i need to know if nextgen is compliant with sctp to carry diameter.? sctp allow multihoming as an example. thanks beforhand and don't hesitate to ask me more details if the question is too basic. have a nice day , br Marc | |||

HI Keith exactly , it is for managing diameter request. On our old version of MMSC ( windows one ) we did perform diameter on tcp because we had no choice for carry diameter traffic.. As we are migrating ou MMSC infrastructure on NextGen. we have to perform diameter over sctp for multihoming purpose. In fact , this is possible to perform diameter over tcp again but the implementation will be very complicated compare to diameter over sctp that is become the reference. thanks beforehand for your feedback , Br Marc | |||
