Hi ,
On our Windows MMSC , when a mms is send through MM4 Interface , the "mail from" command line include the msisdn from the subscriber

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
Command Line: MAIL FROM:<+262xxxxxxxxx/TYPE=PLMN@mms.name.com>\r\n

With the nextgen , MMS is faulty on hub side because the command Mail from doesn't include the msisdn from the subscriber who sent the mms. see below

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
Command Line: MAIL FROM:<@mms.name.com>\r\n

i didn't find the way configure this on the nextgen , on the windows version the allow sender address override button was supposed to do that i guess , but i don't see it into nextgen.

could tell me how can i put the sender address into the mail from smtp command line please?

thanks beforehand for your support

Hi Marc,

You mention the "Allow Sender Address Override" setting in the Windows version. There is a similar setting in Linux "Always Use Default Sender Address", which is the logical opposite of the Windows setting. Enabling this setting and leaving the "Default Sender Address" setting blank would cause the problem you are seeing. Make sure this setting is not enabled.

Regards,

Bryce
