Hi all,

i want to create contact files (1000 contacts per file) so i can upload them to the web interface and send sms. What is the formation of this file? Sould it be CSV or something else? At this time i just copy-paste the numbers but it doesn't seems to work.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I'd like to see an example of what you are copy-pasting that is not working.

Generally speaking, the file format is one phone number per line of text.

You can include full names either by using a format of phonenumber, fullname or phonenumber - full name. But it is basically one phone number per line of text.

I should also mention that the files that are created when you copy-paste into the web interface are simple flat text files that you can also manipulate external to NowSMS.

These list files are found under DLISTS\username on the NowSMS server.

Each distribution list has a ".txt" file extension, and the format of the file is one phone number per line of text. Optionally, the phone number can be followed by a descriptive name (e.g., "phonenumber - Full Name")
