Hi
I am configuring my NowSms gateway through
HTTP over TCP/IP.i am using internet through a Proxy server.
well can any body say what exact i ve to configured in the SMSC Tab in the field (HostName and Port).
Before i configured it by giving my PC's IP but it seems i was unable to send any Text Msg. through the gateway as a test msg.
So i hope for a suggestion for which i ll be obliged.

Thanking in advance

Hi

You need to have HTTP access to any SMSC or any SMS provider. Hostname would be the IP or the domain name provided by your provider. Port in case of http should be 80.

Hi Mr.Sam
Thanks for your suggestion.
well i ve tried it by giving a Domain Name along with Userid and Password to acess this URL.
well sir, when i do this configuration it shows that,HTTP connection ok,send a test msg.for testing.
Now what should i write in the Internet Explorer(i.e what IP along with web Port i should write so that i can test text msg. over this Gateway?)
when i tried it by writing my PC's IP with webport no.it doesnot show any interface as it is shown in the example.
what may be the reson?
kindly give me a reply,i will wait for a suggestion.
Thanks & Rgds

Hi

Yes. they can be used. You need a data cord to connect the handset to the computer.
