Hi Namita,

I don't believe it is possible. There is an "extended object" encoding that can be used for larger objects. However, UPI was defined in earlier versions of the specs, whereas "extended object" came about later (I think UPI was in R4.2, and extened object came about in R5). As is typical with these types of things, most products stick with features from the earlier versions of the specs only. Limited guidance on "extended object" at the following link:

http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/7829.html

Basically, I'd be surprised if a device supported "extended object", but didn't support UPI. But maybe you'll find otherwise.

Hi Namita,

I don't believe that Motorola supports either UPI or EMS extended object in their handsets.

But many Motorola handsets do support Nokia Smart Messaging picture messages.

Try sending the received image from the T610 to the V303, and see if that works. (When the T610 sends one of these pictures, it sends it using Nokia Smart Messaging format instead of EMS UPI.)
