Is it right that W3GX doesn't implement PAP (Push Access Protocol) for communicate with a MMSC?

The Now.WAP Proxy (W3GX) does not provide any push proxy capabilities. It is strictly a proxy.

The MMSC that is built into the the Now SMS/MMS Gateway can send out MMS notifications via SMS directly, or it can issue a PAP request to an external push proxy. (That capability is of use primarily for CDMA environments, where the WAP push over SMS format is different. Otherwise you are better off letting the MMSC deliver the message over SMS directly.)

The Now SMS/MMS Gateway also contain an SMPP server. I know we have customers routing notifications from a Nokia MMSC (possibly through a Nokia push proxy) to NowSMS over SMPP, for NowSMS to deliver ... but I'm not familiar enough with the configuration of those Nokia components.

NowSMS will also generate a variety of other WAP push messages, it just doesn't employ PAP to do so.

What are you trying to accomplish? Perhaps we can suggest some configuration options?
