Hello..For a year now I have been using one of the older cingular SIM cards with a SE T610(pre Cingular/ATT Merge). I have noticed recently that I cannot send WAP Push messages to the newer Cingular 64k SIM cards. Even when I put one of the 64k SIM cards in the T610 I still can not send to another 64K SIM card. Has anybody else had any issues like this? | |||

Hi James, It may be an issue of what they call "Cingular Orange" vs. "Cingular Blue" (the latter being old AT&T Wireless). At some layers, these are still separate networks, and perhaps the SMS link between them does not support binary SMS. That said, it is odd that the new SIM can't send a binary SMS to a SIM on the same network. Try editing SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] header, add BinaryDCS=4. Then restart the NowSMS services.
