Hi, I want to install NowSMS on one machine (server) and access it from different machines (client). I am not using the Web Interface but, am using emulator to send/recieve MMS. Currently, if i try to send/receive...Sending is working but retrieving MMS does not work. Can you please tell me y i am not able to retrieve? thanks | |||

Hi Vinod, Does the emulator that you are using actually support receiving MMS messages via the standard MMS protocol. Here is a link that describes how to configure NowSMS to send MMS notifications over IP instead of using SMS: http://www.nowsms.com/support/bulletins/tb-nowsms-011.htm However, you should note that most emulators do not even listen to MMS notifications over IP. You can determine if an emulator is even listening by opening up a command prompt window and typing NETSTAT -a ... look in the command response to see if any applications are listening for UDP on port 2948. -bn | |||

Hi Bryce, Thank you for your input. Yes, our emulator does not have a listener. So, what we are doing is as soon as we send a MMS we create a dummy notification using the SendConf that NowSMS sends as response. But, after posting here i was working on the issue and i was able to solve it. Now, i can Send/Recieve MMS though emulator. Thanks again for your input. Regards, Vinod Keshav |
