Bryce

I am trying to add a second mobile on Tmobile-USA to my nowsms server (The first is on ATT). As far as I know, I have to route SMSC/MMSC. 2 questions:

(1) The issue I'm facing is that my group's 100+ SIM cards come from a variety of number ranges (first 6 digits of the phone number). Is there some limit to the number of matching patterns I can put before it starts to bog down nowsms? I suspect I need about 10-20 rules to cover all of them.

(2) The last paragraph of page53 of the user manual talks about the &SMSCRoute parameter. It doesn't look to be intergrated to the web UI yet. Will this be done soon?

Hi,

1 - No. The back end server is very efficient at processing these patterns. (It could become an issue if you were pushing 100mps or more, but for most configurations, it is not an issue.) The configuration program may slow down a little bit when you are saving changes, but that is nothing to be concerned about.

2 - No current plans. There are a variety of more specialised options that aren't reflected in the web interface. (I'm not really sure I can explain our logic for what goes into the web interface and what doesn't ...)
