I am currently evaluating the trial version of NowSMS. I have obtained details from my sms aggregator to send messages and using these details am tryng to configure the connection in NowSMS. However, some of the variables required by the aggregator do not appear to be included in the interface. This is the template provided by the aggregator. <ToMSISDN>string</ToMSISDN> <SMSType>int</SMSType> <SMSData>string</SMSData> <AccountNumber>string</AccountNumber> <UserName>string</UserName> <Pwd>string</Pwd> <CustID>string</CustID> As you can see, one of the fields is CustID. Does anyone know how I can add this variable for my connection ?

Is there no one that can assist me with this ? I'd really like to get my connection up and running and as soon as I can prove that it works, I can make a purchase

Hi, I'm sorry, we don't support HTTP POST transactions for connecting to a provider. Only HTTP GET where all of the parameters are passed via a URL request. We have considered (and are still considering) adding XML based HTTP POST. However, it is extremely confusing to figure out a way to provide generic support for these types of systems. And a few times, when we have pursued this, the customer found that SMPP was also an option for their provider ... and that is generally a better way to go. Do you have a document from the provider that describes their format that you could send to me ... if so, I'll take a closer look. E-mail it to nowsms@now.co.uk, and put "Attention: Bryce" in the subject line of the message. -bn
