I'v already succeed connecting NowSMS to a 3G mobile with the software driver provided by manufature. And I want to know Can I use a TI D-sample or a mobile with TI calypso or locosto platform and Protocol Stack on it, just connect the data cable can interact AT commands on Windows HyperTerminal to the PC, can it work as a modem NowSMS need? Hi, If the device implements a sufficient subset of the AT commands related to SMS, then it should work with NowSMS. NowSMS wants to see an OK response to AT+CSMS=1 or AT+CSMS=0 (or a "+CSMS:" response to AT+CSMS?) ... And it wants to see an OK response to either AT+CMGF=0 (init SMS PDU mode) or AT+CMGF=1 (init SMS text mode). NowSMS uses the AT+CMGS command to send SMS messages (preference is for SMS PDU mode, but will fall back to SMS text mode if PDU mode is not supported). -bn |
