Hello, I have done a lot of research to try and find a way to block, or change the caller id on our text messages. We are developing a site for commercial use, and using a gsm modem pool to send out messages. We are trying to have one constant "from" message appear for all messages sent from us, instead of having the service produce 5 different numbers (5 modems). Is there anyway for us to solve this problem? Any setting inside the modem or a way to change the sim card to allow this to happen. As you can see, we're trying to do this for legitament business purposes. Thank-you | |||

Hi Ryan, The protocol for sending messages via a GSM modem doesn't offer any support for a user-defined sender address. So, unfortunately, it is not possible. | |||
