Specs NowSMS version 06/27/2007 Omni Instrument GSM modem http://store.omniinstruments.net/omnirf_gsm_modem.htm I installed the modem and NowSMS detected it without a problem. When I go to send an SMS message, I receive an error: 2007-11-01 00:00:32,System,,COM1:,Modem Failure -- Error waiting for initialization response from modem 2007-11-01 00:04:49,47297767.req,192.168.0.101,1xxxxxxxxxx,Retry Pending - ERROR -- COM1: The weird thing is, is that the message actually gets sent to my cell phone in spite of this error. In fact the message gets sent repeatedly until I clear the que. Does anyone know what is causing this? I have tested the modem in windows through "control panel" and everything checks out okay.
