Can we stop the phone users whom got the above we send out unable to resend to other phone users? is there something in the hex strings or ota we can add? | |||

Sorry, I have never seen any copy protection or digital rights management standard defined for Nokia Smart Messaging. EMS (not supported by Nokia handsets) does have copy protection support. Except that this was not supported in the first version of the EMS spec, so a fair number of early EMS handsets don't support it (and simply ignore it, meaning no protection). There is also a forward-lock attribute for objects that are distributed via WAP. However, only newer phones understand this forward-lock (there's a discussion thread on it at http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/1011.html), and older phones cannot understand or display forward-lock content. But I don't think there are any similar options for Nokia Smart Messaging objects. | |||
