I have downloaded nowsms 2008 and tried to send multiple sms by 2-way http script through php. It worked fine but the only concern is that when I used it to send to multiple recievers. The delay between sending the sms is high. Here is the log of outgoing messages. 2008-08-11 17:32:50,489E01C9.req,127.0.0.1,Reciver's Number,OK -- COM3:,Text="TEST MESSAGE" 2008-08-11 17:33:00,489E01CA.req,127.0.0.1,Reciver's Number,OK -- COM3:,Text="TEST MESSAGE" 2008-08-11 17:34:00,489E01CB.req,127.0.0.1,Reciver's Number,OK -- COM3:,Text="TEST MESSAGE" 2008-08-11 17:35:00,489E01CC.req,127.0.0.1,Reciver's Number,OK -- COM3:,Text="TEST MESSAGE" 2008-08-11 17:36:00,489E01CD.req,127.0.0.1,Reciver's Number,OK -- COM3:,Text="TEST MESSAGE" If you can observe the sending delay between first and second message is just 20 seconds and afterwords it is 1 minute. This remains same even if I use web interface and select multiple recipients. I am using Nokia 6100. Any configuration I need to do for shortening the delay of sending the message in the queue. Even if I send too many messages to my mobiles the reply instantly comes in the outbound queue but afterwards there is a delay. Kindly help me to solve this problem. Thanks | |||

If you go to the "Serial #" of the NowSMS configuration, is there a serial number listed? Problems like this can occur if there is a corrupt serial number installed. If this is truly a trial, then no "Serial #" should be listed. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

In common terms, I am referring to illegal serial number cracks. We are aware that they exist, and the problem you describe is symptomatic of such a crack. Please note that I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm just saying that from a troubleshooting perspective, that's my first guess. So make sure that "Serial #" page has no serial numbers listed. If there are indeed none listed on that page, then something else must be happening. To troubleshoot this, enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG (a checkbox option on that same "Serial #" page). Send a test message to at least 2 recipients, and then reply back with the contents of that SMSDEBUG.LOG file, so that I can look for further clues. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
