Are you saying that you want to intercept a message that was intended for a different mobile?

No, that is not possible.

sir in the SMSC connection i have added GSM modem with SMS access as DEFAULT by clicking the modem properties.now the problem is that the NOW SMS gateway is unable to receive the message through GSM modem.when i send an SMS from a mobile number (e.g.+9864814077) to the GSM modem it is not received.why the now sms software not receiving the SMS sent to the modem directly?
I have tried to do this but i have failed and
the SMSIN directory is not also created

Make sure "Receive SMS Messages" is checked. (I assume you have already done this, since it is on the same screen as the other setting you reference.)

What type of modem are you using?

If this is a dedicated modem device (by "dedicated" I mean, not a phone ... a device that was designed only to be a modem), then try changing "SMS Message Storage" to "Direct to Modem" for best results.

If this is a mobile phone being used as a modem, is it a Nokia mobile phone? Unfortunately, Nokia only supports sending messages via their GSM modem interface in recent model mobile phones. (This effects all Series 60/S60/Symbian models, and all Series 40 models from the 3rd generation onward. Earlier Nokia phones supported both sending and receiving SMS via the GSM modem interface, but this feature was removed in the later models that I just referenced.)
