I sent 10,000 petitions to nowsms gateway, and when it reaches approximately to 4,000 requests stops. any ideas? | |||

Hi, I guess my question would be ... what do you mean by "stops"? Do you mean that only the first 4000 entries or so receive the message? Or does something go wrong with the NowSMS server? Or your SMSC connection? Basically I need more details. I also need details of how you are submitting the messages. Are you submitting to a distribution list? Did you create the distribution list file yourself (if you view it in a text editor, is there maybe a problem with the file after about 4000 entries)? Are you submitting to a comma delimited list of recipients in the HTTP request? If so, are you using HTTP GET or POST? If you are using HTTP GET, the library that you are using to make the HTTP GET might have a limit on URL length. It might be helpful to enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG in NowSMS. When you submit the message, there is an entry in the debug log that indicates "xxxx recipient entries", which would tell us how many recipients NowSMS saw in the request. That would help tell us whether something is wrong in the request, or if something goes wrong after NowSMS receives the request. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
