Hello, I have send with success multimedia wap push messages to mobile phones. It seems that lately there are some new phones that do not support .wml pages hense multimedia wap push messages cannot work. Is there a workaround for this? Thank you very much in advance | |||

Hi, Actually this is a capability that we've been working on for NowSMS 2009. I just re-read that blog article, and I guess it doesn't really talk about this directly. But there are two significant changes in the area of "multimedia wap push" being introduced in NowSMS 2009. One is the ability to send the dynamic link via a plain text SMS message. This is particularly useful because the iPhone does not support WAP push messages, and there are a fair number of those devices in use... The other issue is dynamic detection of whether the receiving device prefers HTML or WML. This is also useful for the iPhone, which does not support WML ... but HTML also allows for a better appearance on other phones that support both HTML and WML. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
