I am evaluating smsnow and have the following question:
I want to know (within my application)
- if the connection smsnow <-> gsm modem is ok
- if the gsm modem is "registred to the mobile
opeartor" (incl. signal quality)
(AT+CSQ, +CREG, +CPIN)
Is that possible?

What happens to messages still in the out
queue if the sms livetime has expired?
If I request a state notification
can I link somehow the sent message
(MessageID, recipient/sender address)
with the received notification
(I do not want to use the 2 way communication
as we can save 50% of the cost)

Reason of the questions:
We want to use an SMS Produkt in moving vehicle
and we expect some "transmission problems"
we have to control.

Thanks

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

We don't have any support for those types of functions.

But it is an interesting query. I have to admit that I haven't really thought about this before, and it would be quite easy to add some of this type of functionality.

If you want to follow-up with me via e-mail (nowsms@now.co.uk), perhaps we could look at adding some functionality to meet these requirements.
