Dear Sir,

According to a previous post, I know that MM1 is a HTTP based with binary message formats and this is the protocol used for MMSC to phone). Would you mind explain more about this protocol, e.g. how the mobile phone can get a MMS to get a MMS through MM1 and how the MMS is encoded in the HTTP packet?? Can we know the msisdn which what to get the MMS through MM1??

Regards,
William

Hi William,

I'd probably direct you here for some pointers:

http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Creating_MMS_Message_Files.htm

http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Sending.htm

As I mentioned in response to one of your questions in another thread, the MM1 format is defined by the MMS Encapsulation format defined by the Open Mobile Alliance (www.openmobilealliance.org).

The MSISDN is not transmitted as part of the MMS protocol (or WAP protocol for that matter).

For more information on how our products can interface into mobile operator configurations to receive MSISDN, please see the following:
