Hi, I'm sorry, but the 50 character limit on "Forced Sender Address" field for an "SMS User" account is a fixed limit. There is no way to increase it. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

Depending on what you are trying to do, there may be other ways to accomplish it. The "Forced Sender Address" attribute for an "SMS User" account has a list of sender addresses that this user is allowed to use. (If the user tries to use one that is not in this list, the first one in the list is forced to be used.) That attribute is limited to 50 characters. (There is currently a fixed file format that prevents it from being larger.) For routing to an SMSC connection based upon sender address, the sender address associated with a connection can be a comma delimited list larger than 50 characters. (I believe the limit is around 200, but I am not certain of this limit.) There are also "AllowedUser" settings which can be useful in some situations. They are described in the following thread: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/24404.html -- Des NowSMS Support |
