Hi, A lot of SMS providers limit sending speed per bind (4-10), as i sad many month before, it would be great if you add option to adjust bind, 3 transmitter + 1 receiver for example. No need to create extra connections to the same provider then. Regards, Alex K.

Hi Alex, I agree. There is some hidden internal support for this, but it currently only works to replicate connection settings for a transceiver or matched transmitter/receiver pair. In other words, it allows you to define a single logical connection in NowSMS (either a transceiver or matched transmitter/receiver pair), and then specify that this logical connection is to be replicated multiple times. So, for example, you could easily define one transmitter/receiver connection and specify that it is to be used for 3 transmitters and 3 receivers (or 3 transceivers). What we have not yet implemented is a way to specify an unequal number of transmitters and receivers, like in your example. We are not documenting the current setting until we implement a way to support an unequal number of transmitters and receivers, as the implementation may be subject to change until then. -- Des NowSMS Support

Good news. We reviewed this issue in an engineering meeting. Support for this is configuration capability is coming in the next two weeks. -- Des NowSMS Support

Follow-up ... An update that adds this support is available at http://www.nowsms.com/download/nowsmsupdate.zip. This is how it works: * SMS Gateway: Add the capability to define the number of transmitter, receiver and/or transceiver connections to be allocated for a single SMPP connection, without requiring multiple duplicate connections to be defined. In the [SMPP - server:port] section of SMSGW.INI, the following settings are supported: TransmitterCount=## and ReceiverCount=##. TransmitterCount=## defines the number of transmitter connections to be established. If transceiver mode is configured, TransmitterCount specifies the number of transceiver connections to be established. If transceiver mode is not configured, ReceiverCount specifies the number of receiver connections to be established. Note that the number of receiver connections cannot be greater than TransmitterCount. -- Des NowSMS Support
