Hi Noel, I don't think there is a defined limit. Keep in mind that each character in the URL takes up a byte in the resulting SMS that is sent for the WAP Push. So the longer the URL, the more likely it is to force the push to be sent over multiple SMS messages. And some devices do have issues dealing with concatenated SMS of more than 3 messages (140 bytes per SMS message, but there is more overhead to the message than just the URL). The actual practical limit is going to vary by device and WAP gateways may also limit the URL length. Based on a quick web search, it looks like most references say that you're generally safe up to 128 characters with WAP URLs. -bn | |||
