Hi! My SMSC requires "Sender Address" to be set, but when I try to send a message with Now SMS it seems to be left out. This is the UCP message created from another app: 08/00081/O/51/0046708555410/2229////////////0000/////3//417061/////////////58 And this is from Now SMS: 04/00067/O/51/46708555410//////////////////3//417061/////////////84 Note that the sender address 2229 is missing and another diffrence is that the other app adds 0000 Is there anyway I can make Now SMS behave? I'm evaluating version 5 beta 2 Thank, Folke | |||

Hi Folke, Can you verify that you have configured the "Sender Address" for the UCP connection? If you go to the "SMSC" page of the configuration dialog, select your SMSC definition and press "Properties", then one of the settings should be "Sender Address". (I would also uncheck "Sender Address Override", as this allows you to override the sender address when submitting a message with NowSMS, which you probably don't want to be able to do.) The other "0000" field is in the replace protocol ID field. 0 is the default value, so I wouldn't consider that to be a significant difference. -bn |
