Hi, I need as much info as possible. I need to draw a line diagram showing the connection establishment, data transfer, and disconnection at layer 2 (LAPDm) for a single SMS message, with the following principles in mind. * it must show SM-RP messages encapsulated in SM-CP messages encapsulated in LAPDm frames on the MS-BTS interface. *it is mobile terminated on SACCH/T The first CP-ACK frame is not sent by the reciever and the second I frame from the MS has the poll bit set. Any help would be good, links, diagrams etc

Geez that sounds very similar to my assignment.. umm well. a line diagram would be handy for sure. the sacch/t is in reference to the main channel being active i.e. a call is taking place when the sms arrives. so lower data rates. but thats about as far as I got in my assignment.
