Unicode characters of 1page is 60 characters in the Send Text Messae

Can I insert more Unicode characters in the 1 sms messge?

I think that unicode characters is 8bit encoding.

Is it possible to encode 7bit encoding of Unicode?

Hi Johnny,

Unicode is a 16-bit character set. The way that it is implemented in SMS, if a message uses Unicode encoding, each character requires 16 bits, and 70 characters can fit into a single SMS.
