It would help if you provided detail regarding your configuration.

For starters, what type of SMSC connection are you using?

Do you have an SMSC connection?

I don't have any information about your configuration.

Are you seeing an error message somewhere?

What does NowSMS show on its "Service" page? Does it show any messages in the "Outbound SMS Queue"? Does it show any "SMS Sent"? "SMS Failed?"

This is the "Service Page" I am referring to:

NowSMS Screen Shot

I'd also be curious to see the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG file.

Hi Avishek,

You have an "SMS User" account on your system named "adas.wh". It is configured to receive any messages that are sent to a phone number matching +88*

If that is not what you want to happen, remove the +88* attribute from this user account.

Hi gsl4all,

quote:

In the Gateway tab shows: SMS Submitted 10 SMS Sent 10

If you see "SMS Sent: 10", then this means that the modem indicated that the message has been sent.

I would suggest you verify that you can send an SMS using the SMS client in the phone ... be sure to send to the exact same phone number format 9XXXXXXXXX

If you view the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG, does it show entries like this:

2011-11-10 18:35:48,4CFDE103.req,127.0.0.1,9XXXXXXXXXXX,OK -- Modem Name

Maybe you have made a mistake similar to Avishek who also posted in this thread (see also my reply to him).

If this does not resolve your issue, can I see the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG file entry?

First i try to send sms using SMS Client of phone, but sms sending fail. So no any entry in SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG. This does not resolve my issue.
I search for file SMSGW.INI but not found on my PC and NOWSMS installation folder.

SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG:

2011-11-11 14:31:41,4EBAAF73.req,127.0.0.1,9XXXXXXXXX,OK -- Nokia 3110 classic USB Modem,SubmitUser=ganpat;SMSCRouteName=Nokia3110;Sender=9XXXXXXXXX;Text="Good Afternoon"

After Change SMSCRouteName: Nokia3310 to MYPhone

2011-11-11 15:20:12,4EBAAF75.req,127.0.0.1,9XXXXXXXXX,OK -- Nokia 3110 classic USB Modem,SubmitUser=ganpat;SMSCRouteName=MYPhone;Sender=9XXXXXXXXX;Text="Good Afternoon"

Thanks.

If the SMS client in the phone cannot send SMS, I would expect the same result for NowSMS.

It is strange that the modem says that the message is sent. However, if the SMS client also cannot send a message, then this would suggest an issue with the SIM card or account associated with the SIM card.

When you send an SMS text message via the modem interface, it is the same as if you sent from the phone.

The operator expects to charge for this service.
