Hi Peter,

What exactly have you tried?

It would help to know what you have tried to do, and what if any error messages you encountered as a result.

The picture of that modem shows a 9 pin serial port, so it would need to be connected with a serial cable to a serial (COM) port on your computer.

It is then necessary for Windows to recognise the modem. (Not necessarily required, but recommended.)

Have you tried the GSM Modem Troubleshooting tips in the following article:

http://www.nowsms.com/doc/configuring-smsc-connections/gsm-modems

Specifically, go to the Windows Control Panel, Phone & Modem Options, to verify that you can see your modem.

If you don't see it, manually add it. If there is no driver specifically for that modem, use "Standard 33600 bps Modem".

Make sure that Windows can see the modem, then go back to NowSMS to try to add it.
