We received a support inquiry today regarding configuring a receive only SMPP connection. In previous versions of NowSMS, there was a specific set of configuration parameters that when combined were interpreted as an instruction to create a receive only SMPP connection. (Described at http://www.nowsms.com/smpp-connection-types-sender-receiver-transceiver) Because there are legitimate reasons to use those settings in real world scenarios, those instructions have been deprecated. To create a receive only SMPP connection, in the "Properties" of the SMPP connection, "Receive SMS Messages" must be checked, and under "Advanced Settings" "Send and Receive Messages over the same connection (SMPP Transceiver)" should be UNchecked.
