Hi, I am evaluating the NowSMS solution, I have registered 3 customers. my client1 has created a distribution list of confidential clients, my client, no selection Public Distribution List. My client1 submit 4 test messages, my other clients who are registered can see the distribution list client1. Do not understand why you can see my client2, cliente3, distribution list my client1. Hi Rubns, If an account has admin access, it can create a public distribution list. Public lists appear starting with # character. Does this list appear in other users' address books starting with the # character? If yes, then this list was created as a public list, and maybe the user did not mean to do this. Unfortunately there is no API to rename list or convert from public to private. But the lists are saved as simple files so hey can be created/edited by other applications. There is a DLISTS directory under the NowSMS installation. Public lists are stored in that directory with a .TXT file extension. Every user has their own directory under that structure (e.g. DLISTS\User1) with their private lists. So it is possible to move a public list to a private by moving the file from DLISTS to DLISTS\User1. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

Hi Deen, Sorry for the delay. My client does not have administrator access. My client when you create a list of address book (do not publish) other clients can see the created list. I'm confused, access to default.html (modified) has no option to make public the list of address book. I have installed Now SMS / MMS Gateway & MMSC Version 2014.07.18 Regards Rubns | |||

Hi Rubns, Does the web browser prompt for a user login at all? If authentication is disabled (not recommended, but sometimes used on a small private network), then all distribution lists are public. Look at the "Web" tab in the NowSMS configuration and make sure "Require Authentication for web interface" is checked. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
