Hi,

How do we use a certificate that is in the CERT store of the computer for enabling SSL on the web interface of NowSMS (SSL/TLS tab).

We tried exporting the certificate (using certmgr.msc) into a ".CER" file, copied it into nowsSMS directory as "SSL.CER", but application is not recognizing it.

Hi Mathew,

I don't think it is possible. Server certificates are different than client certificates.

I am not an expert on certificates, but I believe there is a relationship between the cert and the private key. And there is also a password.

SSL.KEY is the private key. SSL.CA is the name that should be used for a signed cert (NowSMS does not generate this file). To set the password, generate a certificate request in NowSMS, then you can replace the certificate files.
