In short, I bought 5 of the same exact PC, 5 of the same exact modems and sims, they all have the same plan on them. Now this is where it gets odd, 4 of the machines work great, the load balancer delegates everything perfectly but the 5th computer, while it was working for a while has just stopped, and now it sends sms messages just fine, but when I try to send a MMS message I get the following error. MM1 - got unknown response - HTTP Status: 302 Found Now I have read through your forums and you always suggest uploading the log file so you can view it, so I am going to delete the log file now, start nowSMS and send an SMS to myself, then a MMS to myself and i will upload that file so that you can see the error.

Hi Robert, I'm guessing that the SIM card is out of credit. It is strange that SMS can still be sent, but the billing system might allow more of a grace period on the SMS side. MMS messages are posted to the MMSC via HTTP. The log shows that when this is attempted, the AT&T server is redirecting to http://att.mcore.com/px/31LYGBS97A1010NWY95/i.aspx I am unable to access that link (it is probably only accessible when connected with a device on the AT&T network), but I suspect it is an error page telling you to refill your account. I did a little searching, and while I didn't find any MMS related experience with this page, I did find instance of end users getting redirected to att.mcore.com/px pages on their phone browser when credit runs out. I'd suggest putting the SIM in a phone and try to browse the internet...that should help verify the issue. -- Des NowSMS Support |
