Hi! As I can see there is new versions of Nowsms we are eligible to update to. Unfortunately I cannot find any release notes for newer versions… Can you help me with this? If like to know what’s new, update procedure, etc.. Thanks! | |||

Hi, For the release notes, go to the download page http://www.nowsms.com/download-free-trial, and scroll down to the interim release section, there is a link for release notes. Currently, that version matches the release version. Here is a direct link to those release notes: http://www.nowsms.com/download/changes.txt To upgrade, the first rule is never to uninstall. If you uninstall NowSMS, you will lose all configuration settings, so please do not do this. The trial install can be used to update an existing installation, and will recognize existing serial numbers, and will preserve all of your existing settings. If the install sees an existing installation, it checks to see if your maintenance/upgrades agreement is current for the release. If it is not, it displays an error message and doesn't install the update. In the event of unexpected upgrade problems, the install for an older version can be used to downgrade. To protect yourself in the unlikely event of a problem, I would suggest backing up the NowSMS directory before the install. If you have an issue where you want to go back to the earlier version, instead of locating an old installer, you can simply copy back the old *.EXE and *.DLL files. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
