Hi,

In one of our site installations, IT security auditors have raised objection to

1. Admin application can be accessed without a UserId/Password.
2. Users can send text/content using web interface

Appreciate if you could address (1) so that access can be restricted using a UserId/Passwd

Also how do we disable the web interface for users. i.e "Enable Menu Driven Interface" is disabled/deactivated always for installations.

Hi Mathew,

1. I'm not aware of any scenarios where the web admin interface can be accessed without a userid/password. It can be disabled by not defining any accounts with admin access.

2. Define an IP address restriction so that only 127.0.0.1 is alllowed. (This address must be allowed for the "Convert MMS to SMS with web link" features.

Hi Mathew,

From our perspective, login to the OS is what provides that functionality.
