I have an GSM modem application. Can I setup a NowSMS SMPP connection to work as a gateway to intercept all outbound and inbound messages associated with the application, without being send or receive through the GSM modem, and wanted to reroute to the SMPP connection instead?

Hi,

Are you saying that your application talks directly to a GSM modem (via a COM port)? If that is what you are saying, then No, you would need to change your application to use HTTP or SMPP to talk to NowSMS.

If you are using NowSMS to send via GSM modem, and want to switch to SMPP instead, then Yes, that is easy, by adding an SMPP connection to the SMSC list. This link explains how NowSMS decides which route to use:: https://www.nowsms.com/routing-sms-messages-to-a-specifc-smsc-route
