Hi Support, May I know, is it NowSMS cloud version can limit sms sending for each modem connected? Currently, we've connected with multiple modems and let say I want 1 modems can send 500 sms per day. Is it possible? FYI, we are using sms gateway not using nowsms interface to send sms. | |||

Hi, Yes, this is possible. From the menu, select Admin/Modems, then Properties for the modem.  | |||

Hi, The above is from the cloud version web interface, under Admin/Modems. However, as you mention the SMSC tab, I am guessing that you are not using the cloud version. The most recent version of NowSMS also adds these settings to the SMSC tab, via a Restrictions button. This version is available from the Downloads page. — Des NowSMS Support | |||

Hi, 2018.07.17 version is available here: https://www.nowsms.com/download-free-trial (complete form and a link will be sent via email) This version adds options to the SMSC tab:   This is DIFFERENT from the cloud version. The cloud version is hosted, and you can only access via the web. You do not have access to the "SMSC tab" shown above, only the web interface. If you were using the cloud version, the "Admin" option will only be enabled if you are logged in to the web interface with an account that has "admin access". -- Des NowSMS Support P.S. - There may be some cloud confusion because we allow Android devices to connect via the cloud, even when you are running the gateway software on your own computer. | |||

If you go into Android Settings, Apps, and review permissions for the NowSMS Modem app to turn on permissions for Phone and SMS, it will resolve the crash. Alternatively, we updated the Android app version in the Play store on Friday to resolve this permissions related crash issue which was occurring with many devices. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
