hi i'm a newbie, i've just installed the now.sms and i dont know what i need next ? smsc ? if i wanna play around a little bit and don't wanna spend money on that for this first stage, is there any simulator or development environment ? i've heard about smpp from logica, there is no documentation for how i use it and how it works etc. if this question already discussed before, please provide me the link. thanks

There is an SMPP simulator from Logica ... but the question is, what are you trying to accomplish? Because unless you are trying to develop an SMPP application, that simulator isn't of much use (no external connectivity). A GSM modem or phone with in-built GSM modem is usually the best low budget approach for experimenting.

hi thanks for your reply. what i'm going to try is an application of 2 way sms. i know that your application support that kind of thing, so i'd like to try that scenario where i send a sms to my application and my application reply or send back an sms to the sender. where should i start?

Unfortunately I missed this message the first time around ... but since it has resurfaced with a recent posting, here's a thread that I'd recommend as a good starting point: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4520.html |
