I don't know what's going on. I send mms notification and it seems that phone receives mms notifications because it starts to download a content via gprs and incoming mms message icon is showed but after a while all stops.
Should an mms extension be marked with properly header on http server?

Which other thinks should be done? Some special name of the mms file?

I know that some operators GRPS APN are no allowed to access external MMSCs but I don't know if my polish Era operator has so restrictions.
When the mobile phone starts to download mms message what should get? All my mms notification is pointed to http://statsms.net/mms.mms. I set up mime type on my web server to application/vnd.wap.mms-message for mms files. What else should be done to make that mms message could be recognised by mobile phone?

Check your web server log to see if there is any attempt to download that message.

If there is an attempt, then there might be a problem with your message.

If there is no attempt, then it is blocked.

In MMS, when Auto download is ON, the MMS message will be downloaded automatically by the handset & the user (Subscriber) will be notified of it after the msg. download is complete. When deferred download is ON, the user will be notified first, and then the user has to download it manually. When the Auto download is ON & the user is busy (i.e. the WAP is busy) downloading some information or contents & an MMS message is coming (Incoming to the user), it will be received as a deferred download i.e. it will be notified to the user first & he has to download it manually. Here my doubt is what is the reason behind the change of receiving the message from auto download to deferred download.

The process of changing settings varies by mobile phone.

Generally speaking, there will be configuration settings on the phone that specify how the phone makes an MMS connection. These settings will include the name of a GPRS APN (Access Point Name), an IP address of a WAP gateway/proxy, and an HTTP URL for the MMSC.

In most cases, you can simply change the GPRS APN and WAP gateway IP to match the ones that are configured in the phone for WAP access.

However, if you do that, you may lose the ability to send MMS through the operator MMSC, because the MMS Server URL is only accessible via the special GPRS APN/WAP Gateway that the operator has setup for MMS.

Depending on your phone, and operator, you may also be able to configure a GPRS APN that gives you full internet access without going through a WAP gateway/proxy.
