It would help if you provided more detail about what exactly you have tried, as this would help in understanding where you're getting confused. EMS objects like pictures are sent entirely within the UDH. PID can be left as 0, and DCS should be either F5 or 4 (sometimes a service provider will only support one or the other). There are some threads out here that might help you ... here's one: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/2018.html http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/1758.html http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/4807.html

Thanks for your reply, Finaly I send an EMS to SonyEricsson device. But When I try to send it to diff devices (Sharp, Mitsubishi,Motorola) I get an empty message. Is any limitation of devices? I need some special encoding to send EMS to these devices? Elias

Elias, Without seeing the exact data that you are sending, I don't have a clue. I'm sorry, but there's not a general answer, just that you might have something coded improperly and some phones might be more tolerant than others of slight problems. -bn

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the context in which this question is being asked. If you are talking about using it as the "Local Host Name or IP Address" setting, that is fine. I've used www.no-ip.com to provide similar services for myself in the past. -bn |
