I want to change a value of Time To Live (TTL) of MMSC IP address. The default is 86,400 seconds. Please show me the method of changing TTL of MMSC IP address in setting.

Hi Eri, If not specified in the MMS message submission, this value is applied as a default. There is currently no setting to adjust this default. I do see that this default is applied in a variety of different scenarios. What is your reason for wanting to change it? -- Des NowSMS Support

Thanks for the Des reply, When TTL expired, I wanted to confirm the action that a cache of the MMSC IP address was cleared. However, about the contents which could not change a default value of the TTL mentioned above, I understood it.

Hi Eri, As this is a testing scenario... Could you use MMSCOMP.EXE to create the message with the desired X-Mms-Expiry: header? Or I believe you can also include this header in "Additional Headers" in the Send MMS Message web form. -- Des NowSMS Support |
