Hi, I've sent out 1 SMS & 1 MMS. The recipient received my SMS and MMS but he also received an additional message with "Multimedia message" texts on it. Also, I'm using a stored value SIM card to send out the above. The balance value indicated that several MMS and SMS were sent out (the numbers dont add up hence I do not know how many SMS or MMS were sent out). Any suggestion to prevent unnecessary charges? Hi Vincent, Some mobile operators deliver MMS messages via SMS text (which might include "Multimedia Message") when they are unsure if the recipient's device supports MMS. What do the NowSMS logs show? SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG shows SMS sending activity. MMSC-yyyymmdd.LOG shows MMS sending activity. When using NowSMS Lite, I would not expect any difference compared a handset sending out an SMS and an MMS. In fact, it wouldn't hurt to try moving the SIM from modem to a phone...repeating the attempts using the phone...check....then repeat again using NowSMS Lite and the modem...check again. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
