Hi, I setup my operator mmsc settings according Singapore SingTel (Singapore Telecom Mobile)? APN: e-ideas User ID: 65eideas Password: eideas WAP Gateway IP: 165.21.42.84 MMS Server URL: mms.e-ideas.com.sg:10021/mmsc I tested the connection with nowsms and it tested ok but when I tried to send text or attached a gif picture to the send mms message through http my 6100 phone could not received anything, this phone number is on another mobile provider pls help. thanks | |||

Hi, Let's enable the debug log for the WAP client. Create a file named MMSWAP.INI in the NowSMS program directory. Place the following content in that file: [MMSWAP] Debug=Yes Repeat the attempt to send a message, and there should be some content in a file named MMSWAPDEBUG.LOG. Post or e-mail (to nowsms@now.co.uk) the content of that file. Another question ... If you put the SIM that you are using into an MMS compatible phone (or if the modem is a phone, this SIM swapping may not be required), are you able to send an MMS message? It's a good idea to try it out with a phone first to verify that you have MMS services enabled for the account that you are using (if it doesn't work to send MMS from the phone, it wouldn't work for the gateway either). |
