I'd like to be able to send an image published from a cctv camera. The addresses are dynamic.

The url would be in this kind of format http://trafficalerts.tfl.gov.uk/pinpointlite/cctvimage.php?siteno=541400&cycle=5

Could I use MMS to pull an image from a dynamic http url

thanks
charles

Hi Charles,

You cannot send a URL that is opened real time on the phone when the MMS is opened.

The URL can be fetched dynamically at the time that the MMS is submitted for sending ... and included in the content of an MMS message. It just can't be dynamically updated after sending.

You can include a URL for an image when submitting an MMS message, as shown in the example at the bottom of the following link:

http://www.nowsms.com/documentation/ProductDocumentation/mms_notifications_and_c ontent/Submitting_MMS_Messages_URL.htm

As another alternative, you could include a URL like this a WAP Push, and it would be fetched dynamically when the phone opened the push.
