Does the Now SMS/MMS gateway support the API from LogicaCMG (MMSCAPI) ? Can you provide details on settings and any special customization? Also, is this done via MM4, MM1, or MM7? thanks. | |||

Hi Daryl, It looks like the MMSCAPI is proprietary. It is sort of like MM7 in that it uses HTTP POST. Yet, it uses PAP (Push Access Protocol from WAP, which is normally used for interfacing with PPGs) ... with MM1 headers in text format. All in all, it's rather bizarre. I don't understand why they created their own API instead of using MM7. It wouldn't take long for us to develop an interface for this, but we would have to work (via e-mail is fine) with someone with access to such a connection so that we could test it.
