Hi, Bryce! When I'm routing MMS message to operator's MMSC, there is a trouble to set a From address in MMS message. Here is example: http://localhost:8800/?PhoneNumber=89265344891&MMSSubject=Subj&MMSFrom=6671&MMSText=Test7 Everything is works, but message comes to the phone from "anonymous", so there are no From data. I tryed to set and unset "Allow sender Address Override", but nothing changes. Only if I'm setting phone number in field "Default sender address", the message comes to the phone from this number. I'm attached a log (with hided IPs )
The Routing settings in a log: "Allow sender Address Override" is set up "Default sender address" field is empty. | ||||

Hi, Thanks for posting the log file. It looks like you have MMSCOMPParameters=-cUTF-8 set in the SMSGW.INI file. And this setting appears to cause the sender address to be lost for any messages that are submitted via the web interface (or proprietary URL submission) and routed out to a VASP connection. It doesn't cause a problem for messages submitted directly via the MMSC, just for the web interface. We are testing a fix for this problem. However, in the meantime, if it is possible for you to operate without the MMSCOMPParameters= SMSGW.INI setting, then this will offer a temporary solution for the problem. To expedite getting a fix for this problem, please send an e-mail message to nowsms@now.co.uk with "Attention: Bryce" in the subject line of your message, referencing this problem, and we will e-mail back a fix as soon as it is available. -bn |
