Can you please review the attached logs and tell what I am missing. These are created by trying to send an MMS message toward the modem. As you can see I get the notification that there is a message but retrieval fails. This SIM card was provisioned for this modem but I have tried a SIM card out of a working phone and it acts the same way. Is NowSMS trying to get the image via the internet? Help. Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom, It is a settings issue. There are separate MMS settings for sending vs receiving. The receive settings appear not to be set. They are set in the modem properties under the SMSC list. Select the modem from that list and press the Properties button. Then the MMS settings button, and be sure to test the connection. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||||

One additional note, instead of the gateway address in our preloaded settings for AT&T, we have received feedback that the following setting for gateway address is better: http://66.209.11.32:8080 (include the http:// prefix as this tells NowSMS to use WAP2/HTTP) Load the AT&T settings, then change the gateway address to this. |
