Hi… I use Now SMS 2011. When I check MMS.log, the volume is very big. MMS log is 200MB ~ 300MB When I open the MMS.log, message is as follow 2012-06-1900:00:29,SMTPIN,125.xxx.xx.xxx,Mailer-Daemon@125.xxx.xx.xxx,Mailer-Daemon,REJECTED,REJECTED A lot of the messages are stored How Can I decrease the MMSC.log volume? Hi Johnny, This sounds like the problem encountered here: http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/485/70552.html The following solution will resolve the problem: Edit MMSC.INI, and under the [MMSC] header add: SystemUser1=mailer-daemon This will cause any message to mailer-daemon to be silently ignored. Right now you are experiencing an e-mail loop. An email was generated to an invalid recipient. NowSMS generated an e-mail error back to the sender, however that e-mail address was also invalid. An error loop is then created. The configuration setting above will stop the loop. (NowSMS versions later than 2011.10.18 automatically apply this setting to avoid the problem.) -- Des NowSMS Support |
